First Session


My support begins from the moment you send an enquiry, I understand how might be difficult for you to do that first step to contact therapist, so I always try my best to reply straight away back, I will send you email and text, but I will not phone as I am not sure what is your personal situation to maintain confidentiality. Please check your spam folder if you haven’t heard back from me.

Choosing a counsellor that you feel at ease with -is a really important part of the therapy process. If you have read this far and are wondering if we may be a good ‘fit’ to work together, I would be delighted to offer an informal 15-minute zoom call.

Please send me an email with your availability, preferred day and time it would speed up the process to arrange this call, where I could explain how I do work and you could ask me any questions about therapy.

If we both feel comfortable to work together, I will email you online therapy agreement, client informational sheet and core form what would be required your attention as official part of therapy.

On first Assessment/ Introductory session

We will explore what brought you to therapy, what you would like to achieve and how we could collaboratively work together.

Change and choice can be challenging, deciding to enter into counselling can be one of the most difficult steps as getting right help and to find the counsellor that is the best 'fit' for you.

 My training to degree level, is in Humanistic integrative counselling which means I can use several different counselling approaches and theories. This makes it easier to be flexible not fit you into approach but to work at a pace that suits you by finding out the unique path that feels right, enable you to understand how past experience impacting your present time because you know the best and my aim ‘’to see your world through your eyes’’.

 In progress of therapy, it would enhance your knowledge, bring self-awareness from position ‘’I am’’ and ‘’I am important’’, increase an ability to build a healthy positive relationship as with self and others, identifying the root causing of your anxiety and enable to reduce the power by reconnecting your mind with your thoughts, feelings, physical response to those feelings, so you can become a more wholesome you, living your life rather than be governed by.

Every session will be followed and build around you, what is relevant right now for you because therapeutic process as change begins from the moment you decide send enquiry, by taking brave and an important first step of acknowledging – ‘’its hard what I feel right now but I am taking responsibility for own feelings and what could be done to feel different instead of avoiding it’’.

 

I continually working on my professional and personal development, attending regular supervision with a qualified supervisor, I have professional indemnity insurance, a current enhanced DBS

 I offer individual counselling for both short-term and long-term work. I offer sessions Remotely only at this moment.


Fees


First session 50 mins-£45.00 thereafter 50 mins-£55.00

Concession rates for students and trainee counsellors £40 per 50 minutes session
